Criminal Justice Reform advocate

I am marching for my son who is unable to march himself. He is serving a 2 year sentence for a probation violation. His experience with the criminal (in)justice system has shown me a whole new world that should make all of us rethink what our society has become.

When we treat our animals in shelters better than we do the people sentenced to incarceration, something is terribly wrong. The time for sitting around complaining is over. With over 65 million people or more having some sort of conviction on their record, that is a very loud voice IF we come together as 1 voice. The legal discrimination of people who are justice affected has to end.

The image I’m sending is a quote that we should all carry with us & live by. It’s up to us to make change happen. No one else cares as much as we do.
